PURPOSE: "To generate a dialogue between the media, those involved in tragic situations, and the public. ETSPJ hopes to raise an awareness of the journalistic process, the needs of those directly dealing with a tragic situation, and the expectations of the members of the community."

Scenic Knoxville, a nonprofit advocacy organization dedicated to preserving the scenic resources in the Knoxville area, is hosting a community event on Thursday, October 30, at the East Tennessee History Center. The reception and membership drive will feature a presentation by Kevin Fry, president of Scenic America in Washington, DC, entitled "Change is Inevitable: Ugliness is Not."

About this Event: Coordinated and presented by Allard USA and Crockett Prosthetics and Orthotics to bring public awareness of new innovative products for disabilities to improve lifestyles. The ToeOFF Trot encourages a healthy, happy, active lifestyle and physical fitness for everyone including people with disabilities. Wheelchair users are encouraged to attend. Money raised will be used to purchase orthotics for Tennessee patients in financial need.
