I believe those checks have already been cut.

I remarked to the spouse last night that I thought everyone in the chain of command from Kingston Plant management up through Kilgore should have to give those checks back.

There is already some talk that all TVA customers may have increased rates in the future because of this, probably in part to scare those thinking about suing. But first and foremost they should start with those bonuses in looking for extra cash.

Kilgore is playing to his compensation. He's just a hired hand.

Whatever the Board writes into his contract as incentive is what he will try to accomplish. I would really like to see the bonus clauses in his contract and talk to the Directors about why financial results play such a huge part and there are no bonuses awarded for being green and clean. TVA Directors have been stunningly silent during this tragedy. George W. Bush stacked the Board early in his term...I want them replaced.
