Today we are down to 2 strong Democratic candidates in the Governor's race. I am a proud volunteer supporter of Kim McMillan who has served in both the legislative and executive branches of the state government, holds a law degree, supports public education and is teaching the minds of tomorrow at Austin Peay State University.
Kim's campaign has been a grass-roots citizen centered campaign since she first announced her exploratory committee in 2008. Kim has vast experience with the state budget after serving on the budget committee in the state legislature. She understands the needs of public education with her experience at Austin Peay combined with the knowledge she gained from growing up in a household with professional public educators.
Kim has toured all across Tennessee and she has proven herself an effective campaigner by, as she says, "even winning in Clarksville against an opponent named Austin Peay!" Kim knows this race will not be easy and she has not set her campaign up to be based on monetary standards, alone. She is willing to work hard, she has traveled the state, she is reaching out to leaders and citizens and she is putting together a campaign, a coalition, and a plan that will involve every Tennessean and move this state forward to provide for the economic and educational future of every citizen.
Please join me in supporting Kim McMillan for Governor of Tennessee!

Agreed
Kim is really awesome. She is very smart and understands the practical workings of government. We would be in excellent hands with her. Let's all get behind her.
