The interviewer forgot to ask about Pilot being the largest
purchaser of newspapers from KNS and one of the largest and most regular advetisers in KNS.
If that's the best shill for Billy Haslam the Haslam campaign has, they've got bigger problems than we thought and the citizens of Tennessee have a lot to be worried about. I am surprized Scripps would let an editor, so economicly tied to a candidate's family business, appear on camera and comment on such an election.

I didn't see anything particularly positive/negative about this interview. McElroy answered the questions he was asked, and I don't see how anybody can really quibble with his answers.

Haslam isn't "completing" his 2nd term as mayor. At least not if he's successful in his present endeavor.
