FA-18s and A-10s? I'm not up

FA-18s and Harriers? I'm not up on my military hardware. Looks like enough firepower to take out a small South American republic, though.

McGhee Tyson is the home of...

one of the Air National Guard's refueling wings. Those fighter pilots and their jets may be here for training exercises with regard to refueling procedures. I don't know for sure, just saying that is what they do there, so it has a high probability of being for training.

No airshow?

I was thinking the family had caught a Labor Day airshow over that way in years past (and that the show took place every Labor Day)?

Am I mistaken about its date?

At $30 million apiece, good idea to move them from storms

although they are designed to fly into harm's way and destroy the enemy before they are destroyed.
