VERY COLD TEMPERATURES AND A NORTHWEST WIND WILL BRING SNOW SHOWERS ACROSS THE SOUTHERN APPALACHIANS AND TENNESSEE VALLEY TODAY THROUGH MONDAY MORNING...ESPECIALLY ACROSS THE HIGHER ELEVATIONS WHERE HEAVY SNOW ACCUMULATIONS ARE EXPECTED. BRISK NORTHWEST WINDS WILL ALSO PRODUCE BLOWING AND DRIFTING OF SNOW ACROSS THE HIGHER TERRAIN...AS WELL AS DANGEROUS WIND CHILLS. ACCUMULATIONS: ADDITIONAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS 1 TO 3 INCHES ARE
EXPECTED TODAY.
