Approx. 75,000 people showed up for the 2013 Foothills Fall Festival. On each of the festival's three days, around 10,000 made it to the musical entertainment at the Charles West Amphitheatre at Jack Greene Park (about maximum capacity) to hear local talent as well as headliners Rascal Flats, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Blues Traveler. The ArtWay brought thousands to downtown Maryville. Adventure Land with sixteen acres of free family entertainment attracts visitors from all around the area.

Steve Wildsmith of The Daily Times in Maryville, TN, the hardest working man in the newspaper business, has reports on Lynyrd Skynyrd and festival attendees.

It's amazing how well this event is handled. There are hundreds of volunteers. Traffic was not near as bad as might be expected with so many visiting this relatively small town.

Congratulations to all of the organizers. Once again, great job!
