Opening night at Three Flights Up this last Friday was cool. I met a lot of people and had a great time showing my artwork, and watching and listening to people as they examined the pieces at this show. It's so nice to be able to get feedback on my work. I was surprised at how many people knew my work was Fractals. And the highlight of the night was a young lady named Charlie, who asked if my work had been hanging at World Grotto a few years ago, because I had my first show there, and she remembered my work. That made my night.

Anyway, I gathered quite a bit of information on who participates, and I’ve updated the web site. I’ve added every place I can find that participates in First Fridays in Knoxville, so if you could, please pop in and take a look. If you know of a place that I’ve missed, I’d appreciate a heads up. There’s places that participate that I never heard of, and I’ve discovered some new places to visit next time I’m out and about. Like Coffee and Chocolate.. mmmm.. coffeechocolate…

Also, if you know any artists in the Knoxville area, send them over, as I’m setting up a section for artists to be listed as well. It's all about connecting galleries, artists, and the public.

Now you can go to ONE web site that has links to ALL the places that participate on First Friday, with their address, phone number when I could find it, and a link to their web site if they have one.

I’ve had a LOT of good feedback from people on this so far, and I suspect it’s going to make life a lot easier for everyone involved. Ahh, I love it when a plan comes to together.

Thanks-
Steven Lareau
