The Daily Show is the only "news" program that accurately covered what was really said during Thursday night's speeches.

In case you missed it, here's their report on McCain's speech. (Must see parts start at about 3:00 in.)

And Colbert has this report (good parts at 6:25 in).

Apparently the Walter Reed Middle School photo was not the only slip-up on the RNC video screen. This was supposed to be McCain's biographical intro, but they ran that cheesy one with his Mom and Fred Thompson by accident.

Ahahaha!

Ahahaha!

I love the Daily Show and Colbert. It is sad though that they cover the news better than the other cable news networks.

It's even sadder when they

It's even sadder when they do more research (digging comments up) than the news organizations do.

The devil we know

TPM's analysis of how the GOP screwed the pooch and is trying to cover their asses. Given that their entire election season is one giant snafu, wouldn't it be funny if we're faced with VP (--or even Prez) Palin? Uh, yeah--uh. Funny. That's the ticket. Kind of like missing good ol' dependable Dick Cheney. C'mon Hillary. Hit the trail, Ms. future Sec'y of State.
