Among all the things that are wrong with the detention compund, like the fact that most of the people detained there turn out to be people who should not be detained there, is the big question about it's readiness and safety during a hurricane.

I am curious about how you would know about the hurricane readiness and safety in the Guantanamo camps. Also wonder where you got the information that "most" of the detainees should not be there? Is this just your opinion or do you claim to have some inside information?

Seems the situation was quite safe, although the prisoners are never mentioned.

"In fact while Ike was at its closest point Sunday evening, the effects on the base were relatively minor because of the way we’re in the “weather shadow” of the mountains."
