Celebrate South Knoxville living with arts & crafts, food, music and fun at Vestival, this Saturday, May 13th, from 11 AM to 7 PM at the Candoro Marble Co. According to this post at the Blab, the music lineup is:

On the Maryville Pike Stage
11:30 a.m.: South Knoxville Persian Music Ensemble

6: Todd Steed and the Mini-Suns of Phere

Also, the evening before on Friday the 12th at 8:00 PM there will be an outdoor film screening with an "obscure Disney cartoon, rare 1960s Scopitone 'Music videos', and two Appalshop documentaries on Appalachian culture" (by way of Katie Allison Granju). Bring a lawnchair!
