Bezos' Amazon film and television studio will pay $40 million to license the rights to a documentary about Melania Trump.

...documentary directed by Brett Ratner,... who happens to be the disgraced “Rush Hour” director who has not made a Hollywood movie since 2018, when he was accused of sexual assault and harassment by multiple women..

James Carville questions the $40 million documentary.

James Carville said he’s stunned that Amazon is spending $40 million to license a documentary on Melania Trump but suggested Thursday that the sum is merely a poorly veiled gift from founder Jeff Bezos to President-elect Donald Trump and his wife.

“What’s happening right in front of your fucking eyes, right there, they’re paying her $40 million,” said Carville in a video for Politicon. “I don’t know; somebody better look into this. They could make a documentary on the history of the universe and not spend $40 million.”

Biden was spot on regarding American oligarchs. They are competing for Trumps attention and their jealousy runs rampant. The amount of wealth they possess is criminal and the old 20th century robber barons pale in comparison. The Senate has maintained its Millionaires Club status for over a century and they will only get richer when they conspire with Trump and his allies to make the sale of our government complete. Trump's boys including Musk and Zuckerberg and Bezos Etc cannot wait to get started. Before Trump's reign of terror ends he could exceed Putin in stealing money and acquiring wealth and power. Trump will not live forever but the damage he is doing to our democracy and the world will be permanent.
