Highly pathogenic avian influenza, commonly called bird flu, has increasingly spread to mammals and infected hundreds of people, raising concerns that it may lead to human-to-human transmission and turn into a new pandemic.

Cases of the disease in mammals have mostly been detected in the Americas and Europe.

The article includes "a list of the types of mammals, other than humans, in which the virus... has been detected"...

You can go to the USDA Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service website for a daily list of detections of the bird flu in mammals. Is it surprising a government agency is still able to do their job?

Apparently domestic cats are very vulnerable. It's too bad so many people let their cats roam freely outdoors.

We can only hope the Federal government continues to keep an eye on this problem.

Measles

I need to get out a general warning about the Knoxville Reddit page. Once again, they are publishing misinformation about vaccines with the full approval of their editorial staff. Their misinformation campaign during covid was a direct factor in the massive death event covid became. Their irresponsible behavior will indeed lead to an outbreak here. I don't understand how these bastards can sleep at night with the blood of hundreds on their hands. THE MEASLES VACCINE WORKS,AND IT IS HIGHLY EFFECTIVE. One more thing, if we were testing our wastewater, we'd know exactly where we stand locally in this fight. Glenn Jacobs refused to set up a wastewater testing program despite the fact the the federal government was picking up the cost during covid. As a result, we will have the most highly infectious disease on the planet establishing a foothold before we even come up with a strategy to defend against us. It another bio-warfare attack from Martin Danial, Kyle Ward and Glenn Jacobs, just like covid.
