“If Republicans end up winning the House, in addition to the Senate and White House, having a GOP sweep, I think the odds are less than 5% they get extended,” said Meekins, who was a senior HHS official in Trump’s first term. Even Democratic control of the House likely won’t save the subsidies, he added.

“If Republicans control the House, the Senate and the presidency, then we might see a repeat of 2017,” she said.

I saw this news and it concerns me. More and more companies cut benefits, moving that cash into takehome pay. But when they cut 20 dollars in benefits, they only pay the actual employees about half that, keeping the rest as profit. Now that that has been going on a couple generations, it only takes a move or two like this to shut down our nations hospital systems and doctor access. Remember covid? We're setting ourselves up to kill even more with our next outbreak, and our hospitals will have to operate without income because of the number of uninsured. We get what we vote for.

Tell them they will share the blame for the suffering and deaths that will come from the lack of healthcare after the Maga politicians destroy the ACA. Tell them Tennesseans education will get a lot worse because of them. Tell them they are eat up with the dumbass for voting against their own interests. Tell them it is their fault for hurting not just themselves but hurting everybody else including their kids and grandkids. Tell the stupid Maga Voter that they are ignorant and racist for voting for a evil fascist criminal that will destroy our democracy.
