The EPA has issued an air quality "Orange Alert" (unhealthy for sensitive groups) for East Tennessee today.
The primary pollutant is ozone. The health message is "Active children and adults, and people with lung disease, such as asthma, should reduce prolonged or heavy exertion outdoors." The particulate matter secondary pollutant is rated "Moderate."
