It is not surprising Rush's Music has been providing services to the community for Fifty Years. The Rush family's knowledge and kindness was appreciated by so many. It appears the more recent owners have carried on their values well.

Congratulations! Fifty years!

Back when there was band

Back when there was band still in elementary school (Mount Olive), my first rental flute was from Rush's Music on Alcoa Hwy. For some odd reason I really wanted to play the clarinet. I am really thankful Bob Rush urged me to play the flute. Several years later my parents purchased me a beautiful Gemeinhardt flute, again from Rush's.

Our elementary school even marched in the Christmas parades. Our band director was quite the odd bird. She was dedicated to music and quite enthusiastic. Here's a late thanks to Ms. Hagler. How could a grade school student forget that name?
