You'll have to travel to Chattanooga to see The Odyssey in full 70mm IMAX, as Regal is only screening it here (in their home town) using laser projection. Not quite the same.

Regal has done this before. I
Regal has done this before. I wonder why. Knoxville should have the same or better market for IMAX as Chattanooga. Maybe the theater in Chattanooga is a franchise whereas the one in Knoxville is owned by Regal.

Regal *does* operate an IMAX theater (at its Pinnacle 18 location in Turkey Creek), and that theater *is* showing The Odessey, it's just not on that same honking *70mm* IMAX screen available on the Chattanooga Aquarium campus.
(Went to see it in Chatt with a GF a coupla weeks back, just on a one-day turn-around trip. Not too grueling a day and not too pricey, either. Really was the best possible "immersive" experience.)
