Thanks guys!
WBIR is truly the best place I've ever worked, and Gannett is a wonderful company full of very talented, forward-thinking people. I've been very lucky to be a part of WBIR's team for the past 4.5 years. It will be a very bittersweet day for me on my last day there.
We knew you when...
Congrats, Katie. Stars will shine.

Good luck. Not that you'll need it. Smart beats lucky every time. That's good for you...for me, not so much.
I know Katie, I know Katie's Mom and I used to work with Katie's Dad back in Nashville. All good folks. Never met anyone who knew how to show you a better time at The Celebration, the annual walking horse championships down in Tullahoma.
I think you mean
I think you mean Shelbyville.

Shelbyville it is....
Thanks, Michael. My bad. I was actually on the phone with someone in Tullahoma today and just had it on my mind. And if you happen to go to Shelbyville, be sure and go to Pope's Cafeteria on the square. And have some pie.
Thanks Mike. I do indeed
Thanks Mike. I do indeed have supercool and wonderful parents :-) I'm lucky that way. They are both amazing journalists.
And Pope's Cafe is The Bomb
Hello Mike
You're "good folks" too. Kate truly has enjoyed her years at WBIR and has had nothing but great things to say about her job and her colleagues there. I was always so pleased to hear how much she enjoyed her work life, something many people don't experience. Thanks to all at WBIR who made her feel that way!
