Thank you
I am now going to be sick.
Me too! Those are very disgusting booties.
One more reason Muslims and others will see American culture as the worst example of promiscuity and sexual obsession on earth. Shame on us!
OMG
these are the cutest things ever..i dont know why people are freaking out about these..every little baby needs there first pair of high heels...and who ever said high heels are trashy and slutty...pretty sure every true lady wears them...so for allyou complaning saying omg how trashy..pretty sure your the trashy ones..sorry that we dont want gay kids..so we show our little girls how to be ladies...
We should be trying to raise women not "ladies"
Personally I've always resented the idea that being a "lady" should have anything to do with one's fashion taste. Intelligence, kindness of heart, and a beautiful spirit within needs little adornment to prove itself.
The very people who promote these sexually provocative clothes for little girls are shocked when perverts are attracted to their children and somehow surprised when young "ladies" they know end up behaving like adults when they are nine.
I just got a pair from
I just got a pair from MyBellySprout.com. I usually trust this store b/c they have unique, good quality stuff. I gave them to my friend who just had a baby girl, and she loved them. People need to take life a little less seriously. Everyone who sees them on the baby just laughs. They are so soft w/elastic.
Ever see a man wearing high heels?
It's sad that women's fashion often carries with it the deep and troubling suggestion that being hampered from free movement and comfort is "cute". Skirts too tight to be able to walk in or sit in without exposing parts that everyone would prefer not to see and wired bras that cut deep into skin, these too are seen as sexy. So why don't guys wear stuff like this? Surely they want to appear sexy too?
What's next? A special Victoria Secret department for cute and sexy "babes" in the making? I can see teenage mothers buying this product, but grown women?
I hate to inform you, but my sense of humor is notoriously riotous, and I'd be the last person to be called prudish, but I can't for the life of me understand why any mother would want to start a beautiful healthy little girl down a path of fashion like this one.
While this may not be of the same caliber, there is a connection here. You do know I suppose that the bandaged and broken feet of young girls in China was once considered lovely. Mothers broke the toes themselves and curled them under to create the fashionable "petals".
Sorry, but these booties seem perverted to me. And strongly misogynstic.
Should you wonder where I get this wacky kind of perspective, here's a list of a couple of books that might be informative. The way fashion affects women's health has always been an interest of mine. From whalebone corsets to infant high heels...
Wow! You've really come a long way baby.
