Is it a good thing to drop 20,000 eggs from a helicopter?

"Several churches in Oak Ridge are joining together to bring a larger-than-life egg drop to the city."

On April 16, the day before Easter, over 20,000 eggs will be dropped from the sky by a helicopter.

Okay, will it be 20,000 plastic eggs, chocolate eggs, real eggs or what? There seem to be at least a few reasons why this is not a good idea. Who is going to clean up after 20,000 eggs of any kind dropped from the sky?
