Meet Sasha, our new baby pupster. She's a three-month old Miniature Schnauzer. She was adopted by an out of state family from a local breeder about a month ago. The family has two kids and they became very attached to Sasha, but one of the kids has asthma and was having reactions so they had to return her.
It's a very sad situation for the other family, but she has found a good home with us and we promised to take good care of her. They named her, and we had other ideas for our next puppy's name, but we sort of like Sasha so I think we will keep it.

Sasha
Lucky dog. She has big paw prints to fill. Hope it's a great relationship.
Can't wait to meet her.

Beautiful!
She is beautiful! Of course nothing will replace your late companion, but I hope Sasha will bring you much happiness and contentment and that you will give her a wonderful life!
Schnauzers are such great
Schnauzers are such great dogs! My in-laws have four...makes for a noisy house, and each one has his/her own distinct personality.
Can't wait to meet her!
Can't wait to meet the new member of the family! Sasha has the best 'paw' parent's on the planet. Congratulations!
Hello Sasha...
I hear there are treats afoot...
At least that's the scuttlebutt around here.
From one Springer family...
Is that yours, tal?
No sadly...
My Tweety died a couple of years ago. She was the light of my life. I have not replaced her as I am not in a health-wise position to do so. It wouldn't be fair to a four-legged kid right now when I might not be around. When I get the all clear from my doc and am in better health I will rescue a good'un again.
This was my Tweety.
What a sweet looking puppy.

She's beautiful. Love that
She's beautiful. Love that patch of white on the chest. Ear scratches for the young lady from me. And a good and proper chase from Rufus Kitty.
I hope you get that good news
I hope you get that good news and are able to rescue a puppy really soon, Tal.
I've had a little setback myself the last few days that has kept me from taking my Miss Lu to the park and she reminds me of my shirking ways quite often.
I had forgotten how much more energy puppies have compared to older dogs (and older humans).
I had forgotten how much more

You're not kidding. Thirteen years is a long time to forget the puppy energy. In addition, they don't know what you're saying yet.
Amen to that...
The spirit is more than willing...but sometimes the flesh lets me down...literally as my knees go weak...but that's a funny story for another day. Let's just say that walking an older dog can be a challenge too some days...LOL.
But I do love puppies and kitties and will probably get one of each when my health gets back on track.

And sharper teeth, too!
Hope that day comes soon.
