Are Democrats like perpetual hippies? Like, wow, man, we're holding a convention. Let's get it together.
According to an analysis by the St. Paul Pioneer Press, St. Paul and the Republicans are better organized and have a better plan in 5 out of 8 categories. The Democrats are good when it comes to Volunteers, Environmental Friendliness, and, of course, Star Power. We got the Hollywood types. Can we win an election though?
Speaking of Environmental Friendliness, one other thing the Democrats are doing is promoting healthy eating. There will be no fried food available through the convention. This doesn't seem very hospitable to us Southerners. I mean, what are you going to serve us? Tomatoes?

If you want food get away
If you want food get away from the convention center.
Colorado is teeming with interesting hole in the wall restaurants and maybe the best micro breweries anywhere.
Actually, I was wondering if you guys were going to blast back home, or if you had thought about giving up a day eating, drinkin, and looking your way through Colorado.
There are some awesome loops you could make and come home by the southern route on the home stretch. I have done this a number of times and the "lost" day was maybe the best one of my whole trip out west.
Hadn't much thought about
Hadn't much thought about the trip back. We've done I-90, I-70, I-40, and I-10 from TN/FL to the West. Who knows? Maybe we'll go to Alaska. Nah.

OMG! Terrists!
Promoting Healthy Foods...........
Are healthy foods going to be promoted at the democratic convention or - as the Left loves to do - are healthy and unfried foods going to be forced on the masses because "it takes a village and we know what's good for you."
I hope the GOP has hamburger and hot dog stands with cheese fries and milkshakes. Not sure how that will impact the carbon footprint of the attendees though. I'm sure Algore will weigh in and tell us.
WWRE
I see you belong to the WWRE club (what would Rush eat).
Want some hillybilly heroin to go with those fries mister?
How about an underage girl/boy to molest in the Dominican Republic? Hey, the Viagra's free when you buy the kid!
I bet the pimps are staffing up with lots of extra hookers for the GOP convention and the coke dealers will make a pile of money there too. That's GOP preparations for you.

Hah!
Was it Southerners that changed their minds?
Rest assured: Chicken tenders and doughnuts will make appearances at the Democratic National Convention.
Comfort food. I fee much better now.
