In case you missed it, Paul McCartney and friends put on a bang up performance at the White House on the occasion of President Obama presenting Sir Paul with the The Library of Congress Gershwin Prize for Popular Song. The event was taped on July 2nd and broadcast on PBS this past Wednesday.
If you missed it you missed some great performances. Even the Jonas Bros. rocked it out. But fret not. You can watch it online, and local PBS affiliate ETPtv will re-broadcast it on Monday, August 2 at 4:00am, so set your DVR accordingly or check other local listings here.
UPDATE: The listings for future broadcasts linked to above appear suspect. Tivo is not showing this, and TV Guide shows it at a different time according to Lisa in comments.

I saw this and agree with R.
I saw this and agree with R. Neal that it was a lot of fun. The Jonas Brothers did a pretty straight up version of Drive My Car (unlike some of the other performers who put their own interpretation on the songs), but they rocked pretty good.
Other standouts: Stevie Wonder doing We Can Work it Out; Elvis Costello with Penny Lane, and Sir Paul singing Michelle to Michelle Obama.
Oh yeah, Emmy Lou was pretty freakin' good also.
Date for Tivo
Thanks for the heads up - I def want to see/record it.
But - the TV Guide says the show is going to be rebroadcast Monday, August 1st at 4:00 am, not August 2nd. Where did your info come from?

Will have to check my Tivo...
Hmm, the Tivo guide doesn't
Hmm, the Tivo guide doesn't show it at all. It says Paul Simon's White House performance for Mon. 8/2 4AM and Washington Week for Sun. 8/1 4AM. Who knows when it will be.
ETPtv schedule is here:
(link...)
It shows Paul McCartney, Mon. Aug. 2 @ 4AM on the HD channel. So I guess I will set my Tivo for that and hope for the best.
