Tomorrow (Thursday), Knox County votes. The race between Randy Tyree and J.J. Jones for Sheriff of Knox County is the litmus test. It will decide if Knox County is ready for a new era of good government, or just wants more of the same old same old. It's your vote. You get to decide. It should be interesting.

Can't vote for Tyree

Back in '82, Tyree screwed up the city's budget so bad that he had to force more than 50 police officers and fireman into retirement. He waited until a few days before Christmas and, I think, they had less than 2 weeks notice. Then after Christmas, he had to lay off a bunch (over 100) city employees.

Plus, he caused his in-laws to lose their farm and, last I heard, his father-in-law is now living in a trailer in Florida. Sorry, I just can't vote for him.

Hmmmmmmm .....

It is said that the voters ultimately get EXACTLY what they deserve.

We shall see.

Vote Tyree.
