I thought this would happen.
I thought this would happen. Of course this opens the door for a special election for all offices. I wondered from the first moment if lawsuit(s)would keep the appointment process at bay until 2008 when a special election could be held. Any bets on how long this will hold up the process?
As far as taking back the government, it looks to be a tall order.

Upon hearing the news, former county commissioner Wanda Moody and her attorney Herb Moncier filed a lawsuit demanding that Sheriff Tim Hutchison be reinstated immediately so their ongoing lawsuit to have him removed can proceed.
