Knox County Democrats

If the incumbent Democrats for County Commission(Jordan,Tindell,Cawood)win the Democratic Primary & are not certified per the court ruling on term-limits;here's what I'm for:1.In those districts the Democrats hold County Commission District Conventions.2.Those voting in that County Commission's District Democratic Primary would be allowed to vote. For example,in district 1(Jordan),4 yrs ago around 1300 voted in the 1st District Democratic Primary;therefore,1300 voters would be allowed to vote at the 1st district convention.

Supreme Court says No to Herb

It is my understanding that the state supreme court today declined to take up Herb's suit against Tim Hutchison.

However, that does not mean that is over. Any candidate that loses against an incumbent who has been in office for 2 or more terms may try to sue after that incumbent is re-elected. Since Tyree is facing off against Hutchison in the run off in August, then Herb couldn't sue until after that election. But if Gail Jarvis loses to incumbent Martha Phillips, and if there's no democratic write in in that race, then Jarvis could sue after the May election.
