Yes, but not by Knoxville standards. If Moore is not circling downtown in a stolen sheriff's helicopter by happy hour, I'm not going to be satisfied.

Too bad there wasn't enough evidence to boot both of them. Grumpy lied too; they just can't prove it.
Nah, we need Grump...
As long as Rags and Grumpy are busy tearing each other apart, they can't devote their full attention to keeping government safe for developers.

When the dust clears from the term limit turmoil Knox County has had 43 different county commissioners in less than 3 years?
Am I right?? Or have I counted wrong?
A niggling point perhaps,
A niggling point perhaps, but the Channel 6 story is a tad inaccurate. Judge Blackwood cleared Pinkston because he found no "clear and convincing evidence" that Pinkston made false statements (or so my notes say).

You have to wonder if this is some sort of record for a municipal government.

Good Point. Pinkston Stays.
LVG makes a good point. Pinkston was not on camera and not the focus of the proceedings as Scooby was the commission chairman at the infamous black Tuesday proceedings and was front and center of all of the attention as the in fix unfolded. The fact that he happened to be talking on the cell phone from the commission chair is all too unfortunate.
In my opinion, Scoob was nothing more than a Scooby snack for Judge Blackwood and if he's got something better to do, I'd suggest Scoob get with it as any appeal is likely a waste of time.
Maybe Pinkston will get Blackwood to hear Ragsdale's Ouster
suit sometime in December, wouldn't that be a great gift to the citizens of Knox County, Ragsdale tossed from office.
Then, with all that time on his hands and off the county's payroll, having turned in his gas guzzling Tahoe, he could read to school children. We can only hope, but if Pinkston appreciates what he has just been through, he'll step on the gas on his ouster case against Ragsdale and continue to clean up county gubmi't one way or the other.
