Publix Greenwise Organic Berry Recall

On July 29, 2026, Publix announced that it recalled all lots of GreenWise Organic Frozen Whole Blueberries and Whole Mixed Berries.

Recalled product was shipped to Publix retail stores throughout 8 states including Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia.

Blueberries

I got some pretty good blueberries at the Loveday market on Chapman highway. $3.99 which is competitive with the box stores. Two weeks ago I bought some amazing berries at Farm South on Tipton Station. They were pricey but lasted a good two weeks. This is the nudge we need to buy local.

Farm South is an amazing place. It's a craft store as much as a food market. They carry local meats, milk and baked goods as well. Full of good vibes.

I didn't know blueberries were grown here. Thanks for the tip. Both markets sound like they are worth a visit.

I second Farm South. They have an amazing selection of lots of items. And there's a farm stand at 5700 Burnett Creek Road in South Knoxville. Just got jalapeño cheddar bread and beautiful eggs there.
