Sorry but...
Blount County is the worst. Look at the license plates. All the idiots are from Blount County (apologies and excuses for our hosts).
My daddy used to agree.
(in reply to Treehouse)
When we were little kids, which was back before they fixed Alcoa Hwy completely and made it safe to drive there, my dad used to mutter imprecations against drivers who made him mad, and the imprecations always involved the word "Volkswagen" ("They all think they're invisible!") or the words "Blount County ("Why, Dad?" "They can't drive." "They are imbeciles." "It's against the law to use blinkers in Blount County."). It's an old predjudice, an enduring shibboleth, a birthright. It's also not necessarily untrue.
Story
My daughter was in Florida and saw someone doing something crazy in a car and said "I'll bet they're from Blount County." And sure enough!
