About new Commisioner Charles Bolus from a KNS story this morning about Billy Tindell and his new job:

Bolus was a compromise candidate after Tindell and the 2nd District's other commissioner, Mark Harmon, couldn't agree on a candidate.

That's certainly an interesting way to describe what happened. Was Ms. Ferrar perhaps channeling Scoobie?

Well, folks were

Well, folks were compromised, just not in the way she reported it.

Another odd spin...

I caught that, too, Rachel, and this as well:

"Moore said Tindell got the Clerk spot out of respect for party politics: "Mike Padgett was a Democrat. Billy was a Democrat. It was a natural fit there.""

Ferrar didn't comment, though, on the fact that Moore had previously indicated Commissioners would rely on the candidates recommended by the term-limited officer. In Padgett's case, he wanted George Stooksbury appointed.

Stooks was a Democrat. Had 17 years in the Clerk's office, too. Now, there's a "natural fit."

Why didn't Ferrar call Moore on it?

crap

I was at the forum where Stooksbury stood up and announced he was a lifelong Democrat. Instead of participating in the forum Scoobie watched from the back. Moore is such an idiot and he "ain't decided" if he is running for the clerk's job yet. Stacey
