Few hamburger prices in Knoxville taken current menu online

$15 Southern Grit
Cheeseburger with one side
Southern Grit menu
I thought their burgers were very good but havent been there in 2 years. To me it's a few dollars too high but went occasionally because the burger was really good.

$6 Barleys
Cheeseburger with fries
Barleys menu
I like Barleys but I feel like a need a degree in parking to go down there. Maybe I am overreacting.

$13.95 Downtown Brewery
Topped with lettuce, tomato & onion
Looks like you pay separately for toppings and sides
Downtown Brewery menu

$14 THE ‘MERICAN* at Stock and Barrel
Cheddar + Pickles + Onion + Tomato + Greens + Mayo
BURGER IS SERVED WITH HOUSE MADE FRIES OR BEER BATTERED ONION RINGS
Stock and Barrel menu
I have had this and the burger is pretty good. Good flavor.

Souther Grit and Stock and Barrel have had some of better burgers I have had.

I would expect a burger and fries to be $10 or under without a drink.

Cost of tea in a restaurant

Tea seems to be one of the biggest markup items in a restaurant.

AI returns this in Google...

Restaurants typically pay a few cents per 16-ounce glass of iced tea, with ingredients like tea bags and sugar costing only a fraction of a dollar.

Restaurants can purchase bulk tea bags and sugar relatively cheaply. For example, a box of 32 teabags capable of brewing 3 gallons of tea

In restaurants, iced tea typically has a high markup, often ranging from 200-500% or more.
