Anybody want TVA to become capitalist owned?
I doubt it. They might stop yammering about the "communists" taking over.
*
Not sure this constitutes "socialism" at all:
“The Department will receive a minority, non-controlling equity stake in each company as a condition for receiving the funds to enhance the return for the U.S. taxpayer,” NIST wrote.
Really, it looks like the *opposite* of socialism, given that the transaction is using taxpayer dollars to bolster the equity of select privately-owned enterprises, even as using the monies that way fails to secure for government any majority interest that might afford government's actual *control* of the enterprises?!
I can back my Buick through a blindspot that big.
